From your year-round Le Ruisseau campsite, you’re 15 minutes from the winter sports resort of Saint-Lary and just 1 hour’s drive from the Pic du Midi for hiking and skiing.
If you’re a year-round resident at the campsite, you can enjoy skiing in winter. For vacations, your campsite will be open for spring and summer mountain activities in the Pyrenees.
Saint Lary family ski resort
Since its opening in 1957, the resort has never ceased to evolve, much to the delight of holidaymakers. Today, Saint-Lary-Soulan offers one of the largest ski areas in the Pyrenees, stretching over several slopes.
In fact, since the two communes have been merged since 1964, the territory of these two villages extends over 1 km and distributes several ski areas. The ski area is divided into three sectors, covering some 700 hectares and 100 km of slopes, with 270 snow cannons supplying snow in the event of insufficient snow cover. This vast area is equipped with 32 ski lifts: 18 drag lifts, 11 chair lifts, 2 gondolas and 1 cable car, making it possible to enjoy great skiing and pleasure on the 56 slopes throughout the resort.
The village also has a number of additional facilities dedicated to winter sports: a toboggan run, a kid-park for the little ones, a family-park, a mogul stadium for the more experienced, a snowpark for snowboarders and freestylers… whatever your tastes, you’re sure to find the activities you need for a dynamic and sporty vacation. There are also two cross-country ski trails: one at Saint-Lary 2400 for beginners, and a red trail around Lac de l’Oule.

Saint-Lary is also a spa resort for those who prefer to relax and pamper themselves. The thermal baths welcome you for rumathology and ENT treatment. The establishment is fed by the Garet springs, whose waters are composed of oligo-metallic elements rich in sulfurated and sulfated silica.
A few metres further on, theSensoria area welcomes you in a serene and harmonious atmosphere for the well-being of the whole family. Come and discover this space equipped with jacuzzis, waterfalls, a counter-current river, a hammam and a sauna, while enjoying the view of the snow-capped peaks of the Aure valley.
